Amazing Photo Volcano eruption in Iceland from Close Up

Most people would prefer to escape when threatened by a volcanic eruption of lava that produce heat up to 1,000 C. But not for Skarphedinn Thrainsson, an intrepid photographer who braved death for the sake of obtaining the photographs are stunning.

"It was the most amazing experiences of my life" says Skarphedinn.

"You feel so small and helpless in front of the volcano. And back to normal landscape photography after experiencing it, it's boring"

Skarphedinn, from Reykjavik, Iceland, taking photographs of the beauty of the moment and Eyjafjallajokull Fimmvorduhals eruption, which had caused a sensation in Europe about 2 years ago.
